Digital Policy Program
The program informs policymakers, industry – business leaders, and the general public about the ongoing issues of cyberspace and associated threats through reports, briefings, publications, and podcasts.
The program addresses the most challenging issues facing cyberspace in the twenty-first century: privacy, keeping the global internet secure, resilient, open, secure, and open to innovation in the face of unparalleled threats. Digital technology in its various forms have become pervasive; approximately five billion people use a cell phone, and approximately 4.5 billion people of those are connected to the internet.
The program encourages exchanges between the public and private sectors to shape cyberspace policy and to address the developing rules and norms of cyberspace with a focus on cybersecurity; disinformation; cyber threats, data, and privacy.
