CSCIS’s delivers expertise on the Middle East and North Africa, through a broad-based approach to the region’s politics and the impact of cyber tied to the Arab Spring in particular regional conflucts, insurgencies and terrorism.
CSCIS programs cover Middle East aspects on issues of focus in cooperation with associated major CSCIS areas of research relating to national security, as well as cybersecurity and infrastructure challenges facing the Middle East. Particular focus is given to how governments in the region are working together with western nations in the global battle on terrorism
